Description
Dragon Quest Builders is out on October 12th, 2016. If you're a fan of the game, please feel free to use the stamp!
If you don't know about the game, I would heartily recommend that you give it a go! An apt way to describe it is 'the Japanese Minecraft' - a sandbox RPG where you're tasked with rebuilding a ruined town. I don't mean that in a Sim City kind of way - you literally have to rebuild the town with materials you find in the world, like wood and earth. It looks and plays like a third-person Minecraft, but with a Dragon Quest spin; the open world is populated with classic DQ monsters (like slimes!), and there is a cast of Akira Toriyama styled characters to befriend and help.
If you'd like to try the game, the free demo is now available from the Playstation Store. It's a pretty chunky one, at that - you'll certainly get a taste of what to expect from the full game. If you like it, I would recommend pre-ordering - the 'day one' edition comes with extra bits to use in the game. The cherry blossom tree is a particularly nice addition!
