Q-Bert

Pun-art of 'Q' from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, as the block-hopping retro classic Q*Bert.

For such a small picture, this piece took a lot of working on! It's basically a reproduction of the Atari game box - the pyramid of cubes and various enemy characters on the box were reproduced in pixels. Then, Q was worked on in Expression, coloured in OpenCanvas, the shadow, blur and textures were worked on in GIMP, the two images (foreground and background) were combined, and the title text was overlaid. The box was put on to a background, the border and pixel text were added, and there it is!

I really ought to work on more fan-art of Q - he's a crazy neck-stepping mother fucker. "Urrrrgh!"
